Portrait of the Day: Michele Lee

Ms Michele Lee has starred on Broadway, in feature and television films, performed in concerts and variety specials with legends of the entertainment industry. She is known worldwide for her Emmy-nominated role as Karen Fairgate MacKenzie in the landmark CBS series Knots Landing. 

Here is one of my favorite tender moments from her appearance last fall at the Bucks County Playhouse's Cabaret Collaboration with The RRAZZ ROOM.

Dave Koz & Bebe Winans jazz up the Keswick Theater

Master Jazz musician Dave Koz welcomed special guest Bebe Winans on a just-ended summer tour. The band made a stop at the much beloved Keswick Theater in Glenside, Pennsylvania.

As promised, here is another round of images from December's "Dave Koz & Friends" tour.

The interplay of musicians Dave Koz, Candy Dulfer, Rick Braun, and Jonathan Butler - along with DK bandmates Randy Jacobs and Brian Simpson, among them - is evident in these moments.

And the multimedia-screens of the set, combined with the lighting, gave the staging as much of a featured role as the performers.

 Audience and performances meshed, making for a truly amazing and entertaining evening.

Teaser: Dave Koz + Friends = Holiday Wonder

I had the privilege of photographing the gracious and talented Dave Koz as he led a holiday music event a the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ, accompanied by amazing artists (on, off, and backstage), with special guests Rick Braun, Candy Dulfer, and Jonathan Butler - whose take on "O Holy Night" was paired in the wonder department by makin' me wonder how the hell Ms Dulfer plays sax and navigates in those heels!
